Nushiya Silk Scarf

€175.00
sold out

The print of these scarves is inspired by antique Japanese bowls, which contain a fascinating multi-layered material. There is a hidden flock of orange and green fibers under the lacquer layer, and it makes the material appear brownish when viewed from a distance. The production of Japanese lacquerware begins with a group of lacquer masters, called nushiya, who are mainly involved in the coating process.

100 % Silk / ökotex

31,5 cm × 140 cm (single layered)

Printed in the UK

Textiledesign: Laurie Lamborelle
