For ten years, Luxembourgish fashion designer Laurie Lamborelle has chosen a different path to run her business; instead of the fast-paced and poorly mass-produced, her approach has consistently been guided by craftsmanship, quality over quantity, proximity, and heart.
In an industry ruled by machines and numbers, Laurie goes for the imprecisely perfect human touch. From sketching and cutting to designing prints and embroideries, and finally sewing, every step of her process happens by hand in her tiny atelier, where the fragrance of bittersweet tea leaves and the hum of imagination fill the air.
Her garments are more than fashion, they are stories you can wear. Highly personal, like a second skin, almost. Each piece reflects a world where haute couture, art history, travel, cinema, and music intertwine. They speak of doubt and euphoria, of vulnerability and strength, of beauty and desire as an act of resistance.
WHY THIS CAMPAIGN?
This year marks 10 years of independence, a lifetime for an artisan who creates outside the system. To celebrate, Laurie is preparing a special anniversary collection: unique, timeless pieces created without compromise, to be unveiled through a very special défilé reflecting all the inspirations she has carried from the beginning.

Many of these artists opted on wearing her collections during public appearances, whether it is a premiere at the San Sebastián Film Festival for Larisa Faber, a red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York for Marie Jung, or a photocall at the Berlinale for Céline Camara. The strong yet subdued lines, the generous cuts, and the feather-light quality of the noble materials convey grace while allowing freedom of movement in often cramped spaces. They establish presence without the fluff.
